Friends of Angel Falls

Purpose
Friends of Angel Falls was founded in August of 2009 to educate, protect and advocate for nude recreation at the Angel Falls area of Bass Lake California.
Angel Falls has a history of skinny dipping dating back to the 1960s. The area is popular with nudists and non-nudists alike, and a peaceful coexistance has been working for many years.
We hope to educate the public through this website, and potentially through signage at the location so that we can eliminate the "surprise" of finding skinny dippers here.
We also hope to create a model "Friends Of" organization that will help other nude users of public lands in California organize and do the same thing.
To keep nude recreation legal at Angel Falls, it is important that we work closely with the National Forest Service and establish a relationship with them that aids in keeping the area problem free. That includes all crimes, incidents and litter. It is our desire to preserve the area, and the tradition of skinny dipping for future generations.
